The Colans have written this book in two parts: Leadership principles and Leadership practices. I found the book to be very inspirational, with a lot of easily implemented suggestions. For instance, consider having a different conversation with yourself,  “You can go 3 weeks without food, 3 days without water, and 3 minutes without oxygen. But you can’t go three seconds without a thought. You are the only person who is with you 100% of the time. If you aren’t your biggest cheerleader, you might be your worst enemy.” Also, put 45 minutes of strategy time on your calendar and then honor it. Multi-tasking is the new sitting, do it at your own demise.  The book is a short 107 pages of content, so an easy read for that “me” development time.
