In my continuing quest to understand how to best help organizations build belonging, I added this book to my previous read, “The Psychological Safety Playbook,” to deepen my understanding of the concepts and process. I really enjoyed how Mr. Clark defined the four stages and offered a visual representation of each. I would have liked him to offer more how-to’s as this book is more conceptual than practical. However, it was valuable. My biggest takeaway was how many places I participate or witness a lack of challenger safety. And challenger safety is critical to innovation, which we are sorely lacking.
