Jan Berg
Senior Facilitator and Coach
Jan earned her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Puget Sound; Master’s of Arts Degree in Psychology from Antioch University; and Master Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation. She is licensed to facilitate the TILT365 emotional intelligence tool. Voice Dialogue facilitator, and was the 2012 ICF Washington State Coach of the Year. Jan resides in Tacoma, WA.
Curriculum Specialist
With a diverse background in education, ranging from middle school to adult education, Jan provides a rich understanding of learning, and the generative processes to unfold the best in participants. Her 15 years of experience in coaching individuals, business owners and stakeholders, and work groups accentuates her ability to develop meaningful content for training programs. Jan has co-created curriculum for InviteCHANGE, an adult training company for coaching skills. Jan’s individual clients enjoy her inspired style as they catalyze their lives for results they had only previously hoped for. Her business clients enjoy her partnership in creating strategic initiatives to lead the mission and direction of their organizations.
Cultural Transformation
A dynamic facilitator and coach, Jan has facilitated cultural transformation in organizations such as the Gates Foundation, Wells Fargo Advisors, and Teach for America. Her partnership with these organizations was focused on the development of leaders and teams, impacting senior leadership and revitalizing culture. She has also facilitated and coached successful transitions to retirement, including legacy contributions and development of future stakeholders. Jan is known as a compassionate and challenging advocate for her clients, creating graceful navigation of change.
Team
Jan enjoys collaborative environments, and is an important part of the Nesso Strategies team. She enjoys skiing and hiking, travelling with friends, and learning new modalities to maximize the human experience.
